The initial nose introduces us to a world of toasty, smoky, and roasted notes. These distinctive notes continue throughout the nose, where aromas of toast and cocoa emerge. The dominance of Chardonnay is evident on the nose.
The first flavors on the palate are centered around candied fruit and blood orange. A gentle salinity follows and fills the palate. As the tasting continues, it reveals roasted fruit flavors and evolves toward notes of cocoa and chocolate. The woody character emerges on the finish, where subtle aromas of spices, coconut, and burnt wood highlight the Pinot Noir.
To go with
A red berry tart to complement the Pinot Noir, truffle pasta, or chicken with morels to pair with the wine’s freshness and complexity.

During pressing, the juice is separated into two fractions: the “cuvée,” which comes from the first pressings and produces fresh, lively wines with more complex aromatic potential; and the “taille,” extracted at the end of the pressing process, which is supple and fruity, with higher tannin content.
