The color is yellow with greenish-gold highlights. 

The initial nose beautifully highlights the terroir of Villers-Marmery. Citrus and smoky notes are the aromas that stand out upon first sniff. This is followed by a slightly balsamic note derived from the reserve wines.

On the palate, the attack is clean and lively. The wine then reveals notes of minerality and roasted fruit.
